You’re likely to have the best luck at local giveaways. This is because the odds are in your favor, since you are entering a much smaller pool of the giveaway. So, make sure you go to anniversary celebrations, grand openings or other special events. By doing so, you are bound to find lots of giveaways.
Shorter is Better
Always try to look for giveaways with a shorter entry period. From one day to a few weeks is a good range. Quite often, local giveaways have shorter entry periods than national sweepstakes.
No Purchase Necessary
Try to look for sweepstakes that have a “no purchase necessary” rule. This is great, because you can skip any purchase (and save money) by entering through the mail. Always make sure to read the fine print. Whenever you see a promo sign, take a quick picture of the fine print, so that you can see the promotional website address for the official rules. Make sure to follow the rules, otherwise your entry may be invalid. Include all the necessary information; this may contain some of the following:

Know Your Limits
