Use sweepstakes sites: There are tons of sweepstakes sites out there that list all the sweepstakes out there in one place, but it’s important that you find one or two sites that list a variety of legitimate sweepstakes. Your time is extremely precious, so don’t waste it looking for sweeps that you can enter.
Create an email account for sweepstakes: Once you start registering for sweepstakes, you’ll receive a lot of emails. You don’t want these emails to clutter your personal inbox. That’s why it’s important that you take some time out to set up an email account that you can use for sweepstakes. Make sure to check this email account often for win notifications, since many of these notifications come with a “reply by'' date, beyond which your reply will not be considered. Also, it’s a good idea to check your spam folder from time to time since win notifications can sometimes end up there.
Use form filler software: Using form filler software, like Roboform, can save you a lot of time when entering sweepstakes. However, check the rules of the sweepstakes before you use such software. Some sweepstakes require manual keystrokes, so you’ll have to type out the details on the form yourself.
Read the rules: The rules will specify how many times you can enter the sweepstakes and a number of other things - make sure to read these rules and follow them. So, for instance, if you’re entering a daily-entry sweepstakes giveaway, make sure to only submit your entry once. If you are entering a one-entry sweepstakes giveaway, do not submit more than one entry. Reading the rules will help you avoid disqualification.
